2004 Banks Thargo Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

The flagship of our range, deep crimson purple in colour a powerful red with deep cassis mulberry flavours and fine soft tannins. Nice subtle oak integration and lingering fruity finish. A classic Coonawarra Cabernet with intense flavour to be enjoyed on its own or with stronger flavoured meals, such as Roast beef or curry.

2004 Banks Thargo Coonawarra Merlot

An uplifted fruity cinnamon nose, deep purple in colour. On the palate the wine is soft and well rounded with delicious stewed fruit complexity and excellent French oak integration.
With a smooth velvety finish and lingering flavours.
Again a wine that can be enjoyed on its own or with more delicat flavoured meals Spinach & Ricotta Cannelloni or seasoned pork or fish dishes.

2006 Banks Thargo Sparkling Merlot

Australia's answer to Champagne! Sparkling wine with a difference. To be served chilled, and designed to be fun. The same intense colour and flavours that exist within all Banks Thargo wines.
Fizz Wizz with a punch! Great fruity flavour deep purple/red and a good well rounded finish.
Easily enjoyed at any occasion!

2005merlot

2005 Racecourse Red

One of the first wines produced by Banks Thargo wines. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot sweet plummy nose again delicate oak integration and herbaceous fruit flavours good mouth feel and a lingering finish.
Stopped production in 1999 re-released in 2005 due to popular demand.
